BUG FIX
1) MERIDIAN CROSSED message was not coming out if tracking across the Central Meridian.
2) GOTO has been reworked to take into acount MOR / MORP so that it will not do cable wrap under the pole, and will not flip when in MOR even though the counterweight may be higher than the scope. This only applies to GEM scopes. Hours of testing!
3) At Parking it will now return a GEM scope to the same orientation at PARK even though it is close to the Central Meridian within the MOR / MORP area. I have checked that it wakes up calibrated with the correct hemisphere shown but only if the scope park position was in the true hemisphere of the SETPARK function. Handbook note!
4) Minor HOST protocol fixes to return some basic LX200 functions to specification involving :Me# :Mw# :Qe# :Qw# :Gg#

I have added EPOCH ENTRY for coordinates entered at the keyboard so that you can use positions from old star catalogues directly, and the IH will precess to epoch of date. There is an extra step when using COORD and the EPOCH you are using is shown on the screen. You can adjust this and then press COORD again to enter the coordinates. Coordinates from the HOST are in Jnow and this is not affected.
The display is now replaced by an alternative model which unfortunately means there are hardware changes if a faulty display needs replaced.
Extra diagnostics using Windisp are now available on request as it involves some instruction.

This update has been tortuous. I do not want the code to climb out of the bathtub!.
NEW
ALT-AZ mode DRAG and DROP now works properly. The motors do not have a tracking rate until the movement has finished. This can be done by hand if there are external encoders fitted or by using the Simple Handset.
PERIMETER EXCEEDED now works for manual movements as well as GOTO operation.
A lot of work done to the interaction with the FOCUS module to make sure it is all working properly. The command transaction process has been speeded up
BUG FIX
Tried to introduce a supervisory opoeration for GOTO but the code broke when doing GOTO's randomly and the bug was not fixed for a long time. No code was released during this time. 1.739 appears to be the most stable. So we have fixed the bug that this created.
Changed 'scan_ustep' so that there is now an 'else' condition is nothing matches.
There was a route at startup for both motors to suddenly take off at SLEW speed. Corrected the startup code for the new instances of 'Track at Start Y/N'.
GOTO first stage (slewing) is now much more robust in its actions so it *should start* and *should finish*. One of my tests showed the problem and I had the right debug operating at that time so I was able to pinpoint it and what had failed. Changed the mechanism for telling if an axis had completed the SLEW stage. I am not expecting this to fail now.

DUAL MOTORS option now needs version 1.00 or higher in the Drivebox.
Also it now checks the Microstep version at power up to make sure it is compatible with the SETUP options selected.
ALTAZ Selection DRAG and DROP is improved as it now calculates the new tracking rate when it lands.
FOCUS display screen and menu option order is now tidied up.
BUG FIX
Using the PIPE command '^' (PC to Drivebox) there were several bugs with the string return to the PC.
Dual motors the SDIR parameter in RA and DEC was being sent in wrong format to the drivebox.
Made sure that all returns from the Drivebox have a '#' delimeter, otherwise ASCOM plays up.

NEW MOR ans MORP settings when MREV = YES
These define the meridian overrun before the mount stops both MOR for crossing Central Meridian East to West and MORP for under the pole crossing from West to East. This is applicable to GEM mounts. The mount will continue until the limit is reached then it will STOP. Manual control is available when stopped.
BUG FIX
Startup bug when a direction button is pressed the scope was moving to a different speed indicated. Hopefully this is now fixed.

NEW Extra FACTORY - SETUP options There are new conditions that can be put in with YES or NO answers.
- SUPERSLEW MTRS. Older telescopes where separate slewing motorss, also clutch operation
- MULTI TELESCOPE. Stores operational parameters of three telescope installations. (Not available yet)
- EQ ON ALTAZ. Driving Alt-Az telescopes in Equatorial mode.
- BARS BOX. Ooption for PUSH-TO telescopes fitted with external encoders.

NEW In the FACTORY meny there is a new option for SETUP. There are new conditions that can be put in with YES or NO answers.
- OBSERVERS MENU. A reduced set of menus for observing. (NOT IMPLEMENTED YET)
- EXTERNAL ENCODERS. Selecte this if you have external encoders fitted.
- HIGH SPEED SLEWS. Only applies to a few users to get teh handset above 0.55 degrees per second.
- FOCUS BOX. For extra hardware associated with the system.
- TRACK AT START. Useful option if you are not ready to run tthe telescope from power up. Use the UNPARK button to get it going.
- DOUBLE ENCODER resolution. Works with all systems. It will be a benefit if your RATIO or ERATIO is under 100,000. See the manual.
BACKDOOR '3' to test the communications link to the drivebox. A low level reporting and display of the traffic to/from the drivebox.
BUG FIX
Various bugs in GPS screen removed. It now tells you when you have updated the time or the site position.

MERIDIAN REVERSAL: The criterion for allowing this has changed. It was too restrictive. It is now renamed FLIP when it appears in the GOTO menu screen.
CATALOGUE SELECTION: CATLG increments the catalogue selection and CAT- decrements the catalogue selection. The option to FIX the object filtering to this constellation has temporarily been removed.

V1.734 release 9th November 2015
RELEASE
There is an extra menu option in the Setup screen to allow change of DEC MOTOR SENSE (DECDIR) without going into the FACTORY screens. This also shows the encoder count for both axes.
BUG FIX
Using a coordinate from the catalogue for a GOTO resulted in a nonsense coordinate, fixed in this version.

The software is as complete as the Intelligent Handset. It works exactly the same.
Database option works.
Option for High Slew Speed settings works
The REBOOT function is not working.
External encoder version also working.
There is an in-built BOOTLOADER to programme the IH2 Application code over the serial port. This also tells you the firmware version fitted. A PC programme is also available to transfer the file across.
