Put the IH into the 'OBJECT menu'. Transfer the header file 'Header File' to the IH. Which must be done first.
After download the IH will say FILE LOADED and will beep once. On going to the INFO screen
the database will register with its version number and the number of catalogues 'D01 00'.
Then you can transfer the catalogues you require in any order. During download a counter will
increment in the top left corner of the screen. The IH must say
FILE LOADED after each catalogue. Note the transfer process takes about 10 minutes for
the NGC catalogue so be patient! Each catalogue loaded will increment the number shown in the INFO screen.
If at any time you want to see how many files you have loaded onto the handset go to the INFO screen and it will show you how many catalogues you have loaded onto the chip.
Once all the files have been downloaded succesfully, go to the INFO screen and it should now register 'D01 B'.
Error messages that can occur are:
'FLASH OVERWRITE ERROR' Trying to write to a written location. (Contact AWR)
'DB FORMAT ERROR' Error detected in incoming stream. (Contact AWR)
If the IH is not setup to work in AWR COMMS then you will not be able to transfer data to the chip
If you load two of the same files onto your handset or you want to clear the chip you can FORMAT the FLASH by going to FACTORY - TEST - FLASH menu.
