There is a potential problem if you have the PP3 compartment and you plug the unit into a 12V power supply. The battery should take over when the power supply disappears, which it does, but it is also receiving voltage, which it shouldn't. Users have noticed the PP3 battery getting warm. The solution is to snip out a component as per this picture. REMOVE THIS in certain circumstances on issue A and issue B main board of the SC110 mk 3. Any queries to AWR.

| We have tried these utilities on various PC operating systems. We use WINDISP every day and know it works on Win98, ME, XP and Vista. QDD is recent and works on XP. If you find they work on other systems please tell us so we can tell all our readers. |

A TERMINAL programme (PC) for communicating with the Drivebox or Intelligent Handset called WINDISP. Download the INSTALL FILE (version 0.3.6 size 1M byte) and the README FILE (version 1.1 16th Jan 07) and follow instructions.
